fiber of being

Building off of a panel discussion that took place at Sacramento’s NCECA, Fiber of Being featured work by myself, Jennifer Ling Datchuk, Kevin Kao, Sharon Norwood and Akiko Jackson. Each artist uniquely investigates the effects of living within a culture that views hair, a personal and private asset, as a public symbol. The show was part of the Richmond, Virginia NCECA at the Main Street Station Gallery.
