When the Wind Stops was my MFA thesis exhibition at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln. The work examined objects as things that make up our world, in conjunction with their potential and ability to absorb and reflect life. In school I came to understand the unique ability of clay to be a filter for the human experience. This body of sculpture examines my interest in creativity giving physical insight into the way that thoughts develop, morph and sometimes become misconstrued.
